With over 25 years of experience in assessment, treatment, training, and supervision, I provide individualized, compassionate care in New York City. My extensive training includes advanced degrees from Albert-Ludwig University in Germany and Long Island University, C.W. Post, covering psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems approaches.
I have served as the Director of Psychology Internship Training and later as the Director of Psychology at Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital in NYC. My focus now is on individual and couples therapy, specializing in helping the LGBTQ+ community with issues around dating, sexuality, and personal growth.
Reflecting upon my training and factors that have shaped my work I believe that my constant striving for self-improvement and psychological work on myself have been most influential in who I am today as a person and psychologist. I have always put great emphasis on rigorous formal training when it comes to health care and mental health. However, the true art of therapy reveals itself in the integration of all academic knowledge and skills in a compassionate personality.
